Cream of Whatever your Heart Desires Soup Mix

I'll admit it, I love using creamy soups for fast and easy meals, but the salt content is unreal. There is a better solution!

So, I've recently decided to start making cream soup from scratch. It is a healthier alternative and saves a lot of space in my pantry as a big jar of dry mix replaces up to 10 cans of condensed soup! Say goodbye to high sodium content and cluttered cabinets with this simple recipe.


4 cups dehydrated milk powder

1 1/2 cups of cornstarch or arrowroot powder

1/2 cup of bouillon base- Vegetable, chicken or beef will do

1 tablespoon of garlic pepper

1 tablespoon of onion powder

1/3 cup dehydrated green onions

To make your desired creamy soup base, add mushrooms, small chicken tidbits, celery, or even potatoes.


Combine all ingredients in a jar and shake. Use 1/3 cup of dry mix to 1 1/4 cups of water to replace one can of creamy soup. Double it to replace the can of added water.
