Fresh Homemade Apple Cider- Freeze, Can or Drink FRESH!


12 cups of juice (24-30 apples depending on the size)

1/4 cup of lemon juice

1 cup of sugar (or less if your apples are extra sweet)

5 Cinnamon sticks


1. Pour apple juice into a large pot and turn on medium heat; bring to a boil and then simmer for 15 minutes.

2. Add the sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon sticks.

3. Remove the cinnamon sticks and skim as much foam from the top of the juice.

4. Water bath can for 10 minutes or allow the juice to cool before freezing it.
