From date night to Sunday dinner, goose meat is the perfect selection for a meal any night of the week! Goose is exceptional when served with brown gravy over mashed potatoes or with a veggie of choice. People often shy away from goose because of its wild flavor, but with this recipe, you’ll find it a new household favorite!
Ingredients:
2 goose breasts- the breast meat is large and can easily feed 4 people.
Chicken stock- You'll want enough to cover the goose. I usually use one 32 oz box of stock, but four Boullion cubes and four cups of water will work too.
Garlic Pepper- 1/4 teaspoon
1/2 small white onion chopped
Directions:
Put the cover on and hit the poultry button- Goose is ready in 1 hour.
Warning: When eating wild game, always watch for any of the remaining bird shot in the meat. Biting down on one won't be pleasant!
Watson has yet to go bird hunting with his dad, but he loves it when he brings home the ducks and geese. Watson always likes to help Ben as he cleans and prepares them for the freezer.
