PREPPING: Foot Care- Plus My Personal Routine

When preparing your medical kits, do not forget foot care! Cracked and dry heels can cause many problems, including pain and possibly infection.

I'll be going over my simple yet effective foot treatment here today.

I do this routine about 3 or 4 times a week as my feet can get very rough.

Step 1: Remove dead skin. Using a dry foot file, sugar scrub, or pumice stone, thoroughly exfoliate away dry skin and calloused areas.

Step 2: Wash your feet. Either a shower, bath, or washcloth with soap and water will do.

Step 3: Apply a thick layer of moisturizer all over your feet.

Step 4: Seal the hydrating layer of lotion by heavily coating your feet with petroleum jelly or vapor rub layer.

Step 5: Put on socks and go to bed.

Your feet will love you by morning! It may take several treatments to repair damaged heals, but you'll be surprised how much one treatment can do.

Thanks for reading!
